Setup Your Payment Methods

In GoBuddy, you are opted to select from two payment connection modes, ‘Online Payment (Acquired by GoBuddy)’ or ‘Direct Connection’.

Step 1 - Click on ‘Payment Setting’

After logging into your account, click on ‘Payment Setting’ on the left panel.

Step 2 - Enable Appropriate Payment Methods

The landing page should look like the following:

Apart from Cash Payments, there are mainly three types of online payment methods:

1. Online Payment (Acquire Mode by GoBuddy):

It means payments will go into GoBuddy’s bank account(s) before settlement into your bank account. This is a flexible approach that allows you to accept different payment methods without the need to create business accounts.

Once you have enabled the Online Payment (acquire mode via Gobuddy), you are unable to accept any other online payment methods (through direct mode).

NOTE: This method is NOT preferred as all payments would be accrued and settled at the end of each month.

II. Direct Mode (Stripe):

(Direct mode is only available for Business Plan user)

You have also opted to directly connect your own payment method.  We are currently supporting Stripe connection.

Stripe will support most credit cards, including, but not limited to Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

[For Stripe Connection]:

1. Click "Connect with Stripe" under Stripe

2. Login Your Stripe Account

3. Select Correct Account to Connect

III. Direct Mode (Payme For Business):

This newly added feature allows you to use Payme as payment method.

IV. Custom Payment Method:

This option allows you to accept payment through other services such as FPS or bank transfer. For more details, see here.

Step 3 - Edit Payment Setting

You can click "Edit" to enable or disable that payment method.
